Pros

Slack is an amazing company to work for and specifically sell for. I always tell people it’s a dream product to sell as a sales person. I’ve never sold a product that people love so much or that really changes how a company operates. Sales leadership is incredibly supportive and the entire organization is willing to help close more deals. I’ve had our CEO, CFO, CTO all send emails or speak directly with my customers. I’ve never worked at a company where senior leadership is so willing to help. Work life balance is very important to the company and I feel very fulfilled selling for slack.

Cons

Competition is heating up which isn’t necessarily a con - it’s justifying our market. The ramp can be tricky for new people since it’s a complex enterprise sale.

Pros

Coworkers are smart, kind, and supportive. Good product. Interesting problems to solve.

Cons

Culture has lost its way a bit under Salesforce. Tight budget, hiring freezes, and tight ACV goals and deadlines have changed priorities across the company for the worse. Stock isn't doing well.
