      Pros

      The people you work with are generally cool. Hopefully you like them because you will be around them a lot.

      Cons

      Pay isn’t good. Their metric system really screws you for your numbers. You are constantly working and the owners have never even done hair so they have no idea what it’s like standing on your feet all day with no breaks. They tell you when hired that in Texas they don’t have to give you breaks and they mean that. Clients are generally great and tip pretty good depending on what location you are at. Main cons is pay and overworked.

      Pay, schedule flexibility, growth opportunities, company events, benefits

      Cons

      The pay is excellent as long as you’re performance is strong and especially if your flexible with your schedule and full time. But if you’re not a good performer or super part time, this might not be the best place for you.

      Pros

      Great hourly pay with tips. Averaged about $38 to $40 an hour. Great starting place. They do offer training. The co-workers were nice at my location. Management does help you with flexible scheduling so if you have children, it works out great.

      Cons

      Burnout is real. Expected to complete service within an allotted short time. Too many clients come in that want expensive barbershop cuts but want to pay the lowest price (they really shouldn’t even go to sport clips for). Also, way too many clients with long hair wanting full scissor cuts. They won’t turn away clients even if the cuts they ask for are — are not something sport clips does or allows for a lot of time. TV’s get annoying after a while (too loud).
