Pros
The location I worked at was 4 blocks away from my house. Half the people I worked with were very nice.
Cons
Didn't like the manager. At first she gave good vibes in the interview but than she was effy at best. Took the job cause I really needed it at the time. First couple days were fine. Manager was racist. After less than a month she asks me (holding up a resume) "does this name sound black to you??" I didn't even respond She then asks. "haven't you been asked this question before??" "Uhhhh no" She asks it again so I reply with "ya it kinda does" Than she tosses it in the trash!!!!!! I was supposed to get register training online but didn't. (tho I did have prior experience). I was hired right before appt of others. And within a month I was pretty good at the register. So I was told to help others. Which I did. We both found it unfair and annoying when the manager called us out of stupid dress code issues. (I mean STUPID) Dress code was back belt/pants/ socks and shoes. The person I was with was told to go home and switch her dark gray socks. WHEN OTHERS IN THE KITCHEN were seen with joker belts (hot topic Batman belt) and blue jeans. A waste of company money. This dress code issue cont. The register was a problem for me. At first the rules state that your drawer was your own but nobody ever followed that rule. when I wentire on break someone would always be on mine. At one point the manager noticed a fake $20. And I said sorry. And all that and she replied "Shouldn't you know what a fake$20 feels like" than going on to mention how she used to print fake money. I was short two other times not by much. And the manager got on my case saying "you've been short like 8 times" .... Uhhhh no I haven't. Acting like I stole money. And I get it. You have to be careful. But don't tell me I was shot 8 times when it was 2. Also. This other guy was short EVERYTIME he was on register and they still stuck him on it. As the person on register your supposed to clean the eating area. Which I did every five minutes. But even after 2/3 months passed they would still say" clean the eating area" after they just saw me so it 30 second ago. And I know they saw me!!! Drive thru was awful. They told me to ask the customer exactly how many sauces they want and count them out before giving it to them (only the manger cared about this) ( also we had lines with 5-10 cars). You want me to waste time by counting out 5,10,8 sauces??? After three months I was done Funny thing. On the last day. She put me on register and told me not to be low. Now I know this was bad but I wanted to see.... If customers paid cash and I owed them small change. I would keep about .25-.50 cents. I did this to about five-eight people. So I should of had extra money in the drawer right?? NOPE broke even -- idk how that's possible. And I'm good on register. I had 3 jobs prior to this with a register and never had an issue. I was supposed to get two shirts but she gave me one and after 2 1/2 months she gave me the second.
