Pros

Fun casual place to work. They actually offer a good amount of discounts on all types of things through my benefits. Easy to move up... to a fault.

Cons

They do not promote to executive management from within. I've heard mutters of 80% of their new executives they like to be recent college grads and that explains why are executives are always at career fairs when they have a big pool of college educated hourly management in the store. It can also be very political. The pay is not very good for someone in hourly management or a team member. I think they need to take a page from Costco, Hobby Lobby, Whole Foods, and Trader Joe's especially when everybody in the store knows what the Executive Team Leaders are Making.

Pros

If you are looking for a job that you’ll be a part of a fun team environment, have the ability to learn all about customer “guest” service, retail operations and sales, as well as merchandising even at entry level great opportunity. for such a large corporation I have been pleasantly surprised by how tight knit teams are. applying was okay, there were multiple steps (videos, assessments) but overall not too bad)., phone call and then video questions before hiring.

Cons

Pay isn’t great, but for the market it’s fair. Moving up involves a much larger increase in responsibilities and workload relative to the pay increase.
