Pros

Postive I've really enjoyed my time at Cigna so far. The team culture is collaborative and supportive, and there’s a strong focus on innovation, especially around data security and governance. It feels great to work on meaningful projects that actually impact people’s health. Plus, the tech stack is modern and there’s always something new to learn.

Cons

While the experience has been mostly positive, like any large organization, Cigna can have some challenges. Sometimes decision-making can be a bit slow due to the scale and layers of approval. Also, cross-team coordination can take time when multiple stakeholders are involved. But overall, these are understandable in a big enterprise and the leadership is generally supportive in addressing them.

Pros

The Cigna Group overall is a fantastic company to work for! They invest in their employees and do a great job ensuring everyone, in all departments/locations/teams feel as if they matter with the multitude of perks they offer to employees. Many team members were knowledgeable, hardworking, and genuinely committed to supporting the healthcare industry.

Cons

While employed at Cigna healthcare, I experienced a work environment that often lacked consistent communication, balanced workload distribution, and transparent leadership practices. High-performing employees were frequently expected to absorb additional responsibilities without corresponding support, while shifting expectations and excessive micromanagement created unnecessary stress and instability. Over time, this impacted morale, trust within teams, and overall employee well-being.
