      Pros

      * Nice place to improve soft skills (communication, feedback, autonomy) * Safe space to learn with your own mistakes * Benefits are good for Brazilian standards, could be better though * Salary is slightly higher than average for Brazilian standards * Feedback culture * They have a very detailed career plan so that you know exactly what you need to improve depending on the role/position you're aiming at * Transparency * Diversity and inclusion culture

      Cons

      * Salary review takes place once per year (your salary can only be increased once per year, except if your ask for a grade refit) * Grade refits are very rare (so the only way to increase your salary is through salary review) * Even though career plan is a real thing, it seems that the company doesn't take it seriously (you can still use it for your own advantage though) * Although TW has an amazing culture of diversity and inclusion, it isn't necessarily reflected in the salary * In my opinion, like all companies, they say they'll value you and pay a fair amount, but the reality is that they'll constantly push your promotion back even if you already have the skills to be promoted

      Pros

      I've had a great experience building my career at Thoughtworks. One of the things that stands out most is the culture. It's collaborative, supportive, and filled with people who genuinely want to help each other succeed. Thoughtworks has also provided me with meaningful opportunities for career growth. I've been encouraged to take on new challenges, develop new skills, and explore different career paths. Leaders have been approachable and supportive, and I've always felt empowered to own my development rather than being confined to a single role. Like any organization, we’ve had our ups and downs. But the people and the commitment to continuous learning have remained consistent strengths. If you're looking for a place where you can grow professionally, work with smart and passionate people, and be part of a culture that values collaboration and innovation, Thoughtworks is a great place to build your career.
