Horrendous & debilitating. - Anonymous employee Tim Hortons Employee Review

Constant changing rota at last minute, you could have been asleep not seen the rota change and get a call asking why your not in, expecting you to check it regularly throughout the day. Rude and disgusting manners from staff, your expected to be as good as the those who have worked there longer from day one, and are spoken to like you are rubbish. Very demoralising and many staff left feeling like they are on egg shells. No direction and often left wondering where you are or what you are doing. Some staff cut corners, I witnessed many times customer orders being altered and changed to keep in line with the speed targets, example: Customer ordered red milk 'we don't have time to do that give then green milk' Customer ordered coffee and tea 'It expired ages ago but let's give them it anyway' No one washed their hands regularly and quite often no gloves are available or paper towels. Also saw incorrect burger made for a customer saved and used for another customer 10 mins or so later. Would never eat from here let alone work here again.
