Pros
Fun environment, always updating products with latest and greatest things on the market for the true beauty enthusiast. Benefits & 401K for management team, corporate loss prevention is outstanding. Was a joy to work for at one point, and probably still is providing the right corporate representatives of your particular store.
Cons
Difficult to move up the ladder, unless you befriend the DM. 1 Beauty Consultant and 1 Cashier is all budget hours alot most of the time; very stressful to cover registers, loss prevention, and guest service. Checking out guests has turned into one big solicitation about surveys, rewards cards, magazines, suggesting salon services, etc.
