Global company, payment space is transforming at breakneck speed, Visa has a great opportunity to jump into the B2C space and mine the data they have now. At some point very soon, they will be in coopetition with their issuers, which means there is a lot of opportunity for new ventures and revenue streams.
Cons
Even more political than Washington, DC. Because few people at Visa actually drive any revenue, attention is given to really small things that are subjective evaluations of certain things vs. objective measures that help employees understand how they are performing. Promotions are given to people based on their relationship with senior management, not on merit. There are a lot of legacy employees who have been there for years and do not do much except play the political game extremely well. Anyone who stands out is bound to be driven out.
