* Very cliquey and there is a evidence of favouritism. No matter how hard you work, you will be overlooked by someone who may not be as qualified as you. That includes people sleeping with bosses to climb up the career ladder. You can't blame the career driven, since management will do their best to stop you advancing despite their so called "career path days,"
* The paper and ink in which they print out your new salary raise, is worth more than the raise they give you.
* You can't call in sick even if you are sick- people have come into work, vomiting and breaking out in hives but still hassled into making and serving food and drink. So, if you had a dodgy tummy after eating at one of their food places, you know why now,
* \They make a big show of being diverse and inclusive, but if you don't look them or sound like them, you will be ostracised. Many ethnic minorities have discussed how uncomfortable they felt with the casual racism and even the racial slurs often thrown about. Management does not like it if you complain.
*Fear based culture- everyone is scared of annoying the wrong person as they will look for a reason to fire you. People who've worked there 20+ years have been fired for a simple and honest mistake, simply because management didn't like them.
*Watch out for the "winter culling." During the colder months, the company doesn't get enough commuters and visitors, so they don't make enough money. This is when they start firing people for the littlest things, They will set traps, like offering you free food. DO NOT ACCEPT as often it will be reported as "stolen," as that is how you'll lose your job. Word to the wise- Do not trust anyone.
