- Emerging markets exposure - WBG learning events (across industries, causes, regions)
Cons
- A lot of people don't care about development, they view IFC as a place to cruise until retirement (so many are unmotivated and aren't invigorated by the mission) - Bureaucracy is that similar to working in government (not private sector pace ) - If you come from investment banking, this is a step down in responsibilities, intensity and pace of learning
