Pros
The pay is above average compared to other Multinational Companies here in the country. The benefits are above board as well compared to similar companies in the industry. Management is relatively easy to talk to since the organization is very lean. Employee turn over is low, as most employees have been with the company for more than 10 years. This speaks volumes as well on the culture since most people tend to grow roots in this company and keep thriving.
Cons
The environment has become more focused on winning or getting ahead versus previous years where the love of the company essentially lead to being ahead of the competition. It used to be that people work hard and want to be on top because they love what they do. Now you got to work hard and shine because you have to compete to win or risk being classified as dead wood.. This is essentially the people's way of trying to assimilate to the perceived culture of the other company that acquired us. On the growth side, the organization is very lean so limited room to move up. Limited opportunity to have developmental assignment overseas as there's no established system yet that has the option of bringing your family with you.
