Pros
You get a 25% discount on all the products in the store, however, it is limited and if you run out you have to wait till February for it to renew. You get a lot of hours so if you need extra money it is usually easy to pick up shifts. They offer health insurance for full-time workers.
Cons
They ask you for your school schedule if you are part-time to determine if you really are in school, which is an invasion of privacy. Management is terrible, they usually have some kind of attitude and don't know how to speak to staff. Don't pay attention if you request time off because they somehow always lose their request time off the binder. You need to request time off a month in advance if not more and a lot of the time they won't give it to you. A lot of the time they won't make the schedule per your availability. If you ask for a raise they won't give you one. Customers are absolutely awful and rude. Will try on 30+ pieces in the fitting room yet the company doesn't have a system in place for people trying on multiple items. If you are part-time, they will schedule you as full time and you won't receive any full-time benefits. Had a manager who was supposed to be helpful with the sales floor and didn't know what he was doing at all and was also extremely rude which proves the company's lack of ability to hire people with experience and compassion. The company's primary focus is to make money without providing empathy to its staff.
