Pros
It was pretty decent pay for a temporary retail position, we were also given food coupons to spend at supermarkets.
Cons
Management is mediocre at least - ignorant people who feel threatened by employees with a minimum of education. Very in-group feeling - senior retail assistants were really tight with management, never getting picked up on even if they weren't doing things properly. My colleagues tried on clothing during working hours. They turned away customers because they could not be bothered to help them!
