Pros

Great health benefits. Good salary. Learned a lot great Unreal Engine knowledge. Met many very talented and awesome people.

Cons

Mass layoffs with no warning. Poor management at the top can cause a lot of churn.

Pros

The benefits are second to none. You won’t have to pay for any kind of medical appointment or issue. Leadership is supportive and the team is great, high expectations but why would you work for a company like Epic if that wasn’t what you’re looking for? Pay is good, culture is open, largely remote.

Cons

Employees are definitely on the older side, so if you’re a younger person there can be a hurdle there socially. It’s a bit chaotic; Epic runs like a startup, so getting the resources you need when you need them can sometimes be difficult, and there’s a general lack of structure that’s great for some people and hard for others.
