Pros

You get a lot of responsibility right out of the gate. You have a lot of opportunity to learn new skills, and drive any projects you want on your own.

Cons

You work a LOT, project managers travel a lot (some like, some don't), and some of the managers could definitely use more training in people management.

Pros

*Good Pay and Benefits *Get to Travel in most positions *Reimbursement for Certificates/Continued Education *Cool Campus if you aren't in Tokay *1 month Sabbatical if you can make it to 5 years.

Cons

*Long Hours (you are expected to log at least 50 hours you should be logging more if you want a good raise. *You are always to blame if the customer messes up or doesn't listen to you. *Upper Management doesn't care the employees. *Epic still tries to manage itself like a small company even though it has 7000+ employees these days. *Very poor way to get feedback, some little kid out of college who just started can give you a bad review if you don't do his job for him. *Rarely will a manager stand up for you to another team. (I have seen this with multiple managers, but there are a few good ones who will). *High turnover leaves a lot of people with little experience which causes issues when working with other teams. *Many teams are understaffed.

Pros

- Office that gets shared with another person - Food is half subsidized (not as good as Google)

Cons

- Project manager position at Epic doesn't transfer well to other careers, especially outside of healthcare; not too many companies know of Epic, and don't really care for it. - High turnover rate - Management mistreats their low and mid level employees - Lack of corporate social responsibility - CEO is a control freak and ultra conservative with money - Unethical HR policies and employee treatment (social and emotional blackmailing is encouraged by management to get employees to quit or do as they want)
