Pros

Great campus, awesome, smart people. Challenging work. Good with general communication of principles, commandments. Love that managers aren't selected by "last one standing" but see comments below as well.

Cons

Lack of transparency. Team leads young and immature - identified via either success in current role or a personality profile test. This has led to managers ill equipped to manager. Epic is losing culture fast.

Good first job

Pros

Epic is a good first job. They hire many people right out of college and you are quickly given many responsibilities at the company.

Cons

There is very little room for career advancement. After a couple years at Epic you will already have seen everything that is available to you in the position.
