Pros

salary is good, but if you want to stay there forever, and do not mind the winter boring. then it is the best place to stay. Plus every thing is cheap comparing to CA

Cons

It is a farm land, and working there you will feel a sense of retiring in adv. late night working is expected 10 day vacation in a year

Pros

Independence in your work, ability to take on important things right off the bat and there's always a good challenge to take on. I'm never bored working here and am well compensated for doing a good job. Very fun company culture as well. Don't need to be at a certain management level to do what you want to do in your job.

Cons

You need to learn to say no. There is infinite work you could potentially do at any point, so learn to budget your time to work on the important things and say no when you don't have time. That's an important skill within your control to maintain a good work/life balance

Pros

- I work with the smartest, most motivated and passionate people in the industry. My co-workers are one of the reasons I've worked at Epic for so long. - We do important, meaningful, live-saving work. If you or someone close to you has even been sick and depended on our healthcare system, you know what I mean. - The job is always challenging, in a good way. I can honestly say I have never been bored. - I have a high level of independence and a wide variety of responsibilities - from install to sales, planning, design work with R&D, staff mentoring... - The campus and working environment are beautiful.

Cons

Because the job is challenging and the environment encourages high performance, it's important to find work/life balance. When I interviewed, the best advise that someone gave me was that you need to learn to manage your plate. I think that's true.
