Cons

If you're considering a role in the Technology department at Euromonitor, be aware that constant restructuring is the norm, not the exception. Teams are reshuffled regularly, often with little explanation or apparent strategic direction. New hires are brought in frequently but rarely stick around long enough to make an impact—usually exiting (or being restructured out) before the next inevitable reorg. Morale suffers under this instability, and it’s hard to build any momentum when your team, manager, or responsibilities could change at any time. There’s also a noticeable disconnect between the long-standing leadership team—many of whom seem out of touch with current best practices and workplace realities—and the rest of the staff. It often feels like decisions are being made from an ivory tower, without consideration of what's actually happening on the ground. For a company that should be forward-looking and data-driven, the Technology team feels anything but. If you're seeking career growth, strong mentorship, and a stable, supportive environment, this may not be the right fit.
