"Traditional Environment with Room for Improvement in Flexibility and Trust"
Pros
The team genuinely likes each other, this is a big fun. The company puts on lots of fun activities for social impact. The onsite coffee is amazing The workload is not high, making it a relatively stress-free environment. You are not expected to have emails or Teams on your phone. There’s a strict boundary between work and personal time—you will not be expected to work outside your allotted hours.
Cons
‘Flexibility’ is misleading—you may start slightly later, but you must work every contracted minute. Its not about getting your work done its about sitting at your desk looking busy. Middle management micromanages heavily, and trust is lacking. There are no clear KPIs, so performance is judged more on how much your manager likes you rather than actual results. Goals are vague, and filling roles successfully or receiving positive feedback from hiring teams isn’t enough - It's a very traditional corporate environment. The company enforces a strict ‘personality’ and behaviour standard, and questioning policies or being assertive is seen as disrespectful. You are expected to say "yes, okay" without questioning anything, and changing processes is not encouraged.
