      None. As a waxer you get minimum wage, no commission, 100% booked schedules without sufficient timing, My location started withholding our tips if we didn’t perform janitorial duties each shift.

      Cons

      Illegal practices, money hungry management and mistreatment of employees.

      Relaxed work environment. Supportive management. Free waxes. You meet great people (customers).

      Cons

      Low base pay do we heavily rely on tips & commission. Not everyone tips well, especially being that you’re caring for their most private areas. Some women tip FIVE dollars after waxing their privates. It’s stressful trying to find coverage for days you want to take off. Heavily pushed to sell, sell, sell, but the commission is laughable.
