Pros

Location in Southern California Unique position in industry provides unique opportunity for growth. Range of opportunities in IT available, mainframe & distributed technologies.

Cons

Some groups have been severely impacted by off-shoring. Company seems to be getting top-management heavy. General trend is to migrate IT positions offshore and this has lead to job stability in certain areas. Not enough attention is being paid to core technical competencies, it seems the general skill level is in decline.

Pros

Lots of opportunities to move about and work within various business units. Diverse culture with many locations across the United States and a growing network of locations abroad.

Cons

Constant change and restructuring, especially for newly acquired businesses. Heavy focus on continuous acquisition of new businesses without making sure that those acquired have been effectively integrated.
