Pros

- The people in my business unit are great - Good pension contributions - Huge business - good for CV - Decent opportunity for progression

Cons

- Salary package is generally on the low side - Line management can be very inconsistent - Uses some outdated technical programmes - hence non-transferable skills - Progression sometimes based on time served rather than contribution made - Very bad at dealing appropriately with poor performers

Pros

Good benefits competitive salaries, business casual

Cons

Company is shaky, does not value talent and decides when people should retire. Ageist at best.

A heart that's good, despite being slow to hire/act

Pros

A good company with a heart and conscious about employees and consumers. An industry leader, actively innovating and wanting to make improvements. Smart solutions for clients that add value in ways the competitors do not. Known and respected for good reasons.

Cons

Slow to move and make decisions like most large corporations, but goes all-in when a decision is made. Changes in executive or middle management have big ripples throughout the organization. The organization is built very much in silos that don't interact as well as they should.
