      Fair place to work

      Pros

      Good pay + bonus, benefits, interesting projects, global environment. Colleagues are professional and helpful. Generous travel policy.

      Cons

      Very political and bureaucratic. Most departments do not really promote people from within although they claim that they do. Company downsizes frequently even though it is growing and profitable. Work load can be demanding as a result of short staffed.

      Pros

      Good benefits and time off. The building is clean. There is a good level of interaction and cohesiveness between your coworkers at your same level. For me the commute is easy.

      Cons

      Lack of room for growth. Poor judges of talent. Cannot see the forest through the trees management. Group think atmosphere. Qualitative and quantitative expectations not based on real world scenarios and situtations. It feels as if team leads and supervisors look down on those the manage.

      Pros

      Enjoyable office atmosphere - openminded and sociable colleagues. Good exposure to a range of industries and methodologies. Lots of autonomy in how you do things and get things done. Growing firm so lots of opportunity for progression.

      Cons

      Very little official training - often have to teach yourself. Career paths not well defined - not often clear what is required to progress. IT systems are not good enough. Depending on the role salary can be low.
