Pros

Learn a lot, good training. The work hard play hard mentality is extreme but fun. Very young company where you are advanced based on performance instead of senority. Training is really helpful for this job and for any other sales jobs you may have in the future.

Cons

rules about timiness and appearance are strict.

Pros

Great for a first job, early responsibility and working with talented young people. Fun work-life balance, lots of company events. Not your typical, boring software company! The sales team play a big part in a competitve, meritocratic culture, the huge profit margins, as typical in a good software company, means the company can afford to splash out on corporate events.

Cons

There's very little time for training/development unrelated to the dayjob. It's an efficient system but after leaving you find you haven't developed that much. At the end of the day your job is developing postcode software which is neither the most glamorous nor most satisfying of careers.

Pros

This is a relatively stable company with many business units (credit monitoring, lead generation, research, marketing services, etc.) and diverse revenue streams. This means plenty of opportunities regardless of your skill sets and interests. Working environment is stable and not too hectic.

Cons

This company has all the feel of an old school company with an old boy network running things. It is bureaucratic and does not exhibit much speed, and the culture lacks excitement. One business unit often doesn't know what other business units are doing or what they are about. Pay/benefit packages and career development programs are meager.
