      Pros

      GSK maintains competitive salaries, a fun/fast-paced work environment, and great company values. They also hire and retain some of the smartest talent in the industry. This is a great company to work for as an new graduate or mid-career professional. I wouldn't want to work for any other company.

      Cons

      The pharmaceutical industry is volatile and, at times, there is not a great feeling of job security.

      Great Brand Name, Good people by and large, lots of opportunities if one has the patience to stick around for many years

      Cons

      Bureaucratic, Very slow in adapting to modern systems as well as modern work culture, Opaque decision making processes, lack of clear communication to employees leading to confusion and uncertainty, no long term planning as far as employees' careers are concerned.
