      A waste of 10 years of my life. No career opportunities unless you enter the company on a high grade i.e. as a student

      Salary but you pay a price.

      Cons

      No opportunities of promotion despite having a 'Performance Development Plan' and constantly achieving and exceeding targets. You can train and develop to your hearts content and strive to do well but at the end of the day it's up to the line managers who they employ. I know many people high up in the company who have been forced out of their department due to changes and bad management. Went from having a great job to having no proper job description and being kept on because of my headcount.

      Competent Leaders who know what they are doing. Good stable place to work . Strong expertise in their chosen category and industry

      Cons

      Can get to be a bit slow. The industry is quite stable so limited new growth opportunities. Not the most innovative company

      Glaxo Smith Kline provides competitive salaries and great benefits to employees. At Glaxo Smith Kline your coworkers become some of your best friends

      They tend to focus on getting rid of older workers and bringing in new, younger ones. This is true for most plces though
