GSK is a solid company with an outstanding reputation. I think that the products are well-received by the physicians and staff. I think you can lead a balanced life while working here. Compensation seems to be competitive. The company recently adjusted salaries because they hired a consulting group to evaluate how competitive the pay is. Co-workers are professional and are the type of people you would want as friends. The people in my division work together as a team and we try to help each other by passing along information that has helped us in the field. I have had to spend very little time at night or on the weekend doing administrative work.

I really felt that I was working for a company that was doing something to help other people to live a better life. Even though I worked in consumer goods and not in pharmaceuticals, the products we offered helped people. Also the peope eat GSKCH were great to work with and are probably what I miss most. The benefits are also wonderful which I did not realize fully until I moved on to a new company.
