Pros

Complete and total transparency. Great compensation and benefits. Good people. Lack of a high pressure environment—realistic deadlines and expectations with lots of input from engineers at every level. I always feel heard and that my feedback is taken seriously (because things improve over time). Incredibly competent engineering managers.

Cons

Honestly none that I can think of that are worth mentioning.

Pros

The people are the best to work with.

Cons

Engineering leadership is a shadow of what it used to be and the department is suffering as a result. As the review from March 16th pointed out, the recent round of layoffs seem to target a bunch of the top performers to make room to promote yes-men in their place. Morale has been falling for at least a year and engineering leadership either doesn’t know how to fix it, or doesn’t care. Either way is a bad sign.
