      Pros

      The benefits at Google are amazing. The free 5-star catering for lunch. The decent breakfast and dinner options. We even have a sushi-chef on-site in the NYC office. The entire company and all of its employees enjoy learning and it is very respected when you take internal training courses and/or share industry information with your peers. You are expected to be brilliant. You are expected to output great, creative, innovative work. You are expected to be the best of the best. And they only hire the best candidates out of top-tier private schools with applicable research, industry or work experience.

      Cons

      The downside of working at Google is getting lost among all the other brilliant people. The loudest and most talkative employees are the ones that get the most recognition. The people who complain the most get the most attention.

      Good pay, nice food, gym, colourful offices, cafes, restaurants, massage, pool tables, music rooms, etc.

      Cons

      Imagine being in a relationship with a wealthy but abusive man: he gives you money, food, status, you get a chance to tell everyone who you’re married to and be proud of it, all your friends are jealous, etc., but you cry yourself to sleep every night, because he’s abusive, but you can’t leave him because then your family and friends will be disappointed, so you keep trying and trying. Then you decide to divorce him, but he tells you to pay him €21000 that he spent on you, so you stay, because you don’t have this money. And then he gives you the divorce papers, changes the locks and leaves you with nothing.

      Cons

      Another employee jumped from MP6 in Sunnyvale marking Google's 4th suicide in a little over a year. Managers can lie through their teeth and gaslight employees to meet their quotas. RIP the poor soul.
