Don't stay in a place like this for too long

Pros

Tips can be good depending on location. Good for newbies trying to build speed and efficiency.

Cons

This is a chop shop so it's strenuous work, stylists are overwhelmed with back to back to back clients due to being short staffed. Long hours, 30 min lunch breaks. Some locations have really sorry tippers and tips will make up most of your paycheck. You can make money, but you'll collapse at the end of your shift.

Because each salon is independently owned and operated, franchisees may use a number of different factors to determine total compensation. If you would like to share more, please email Jeanne@greatclips.com. We will provide it to the franchisee for you. Thank you.

Pros

Lots of cash tips everyday. Good customer base. Lots of advertising. Clean salon. On going training. Stylists are friendly. It’s of products to sell. 10% commission on product sales. They let your customers request you which is good. They have an awesome app for smarts phones.

Cons

Times haircuts; 8-15 mins is not long enough for a consultation and precision haircut. Many management issues I could never get the days and times off for appointments outside of work. The benefits were not the best. Vacation time was paid at minimum wage.

Since each salon is independently owned and operated, the best person to address your feedback would be the franchisee. If you would like to share more, please email Jeanne@greatclips.com with the salon location where you were employed & details. We will provide it to the franchisee for you. If you prefer to be anonymous, we can forward it anonymously for you as well. Thank you.

Ungrateful Employers

Business Outlook

Pros

Customers Tips Continuous Education There are really not a lot of Pros for this company. Each location is franchise owned and the corporation takes no responsibility in making sure employees are treated respectfully and fairly. Corporate also encourages work over family ALWAYS

Cons

Abusive Management Hostile Work Environment No Work Life Balance Corporate doesn’t care about employees since they are franchise owned. Corporate encourages company first family last.
