      Competitive pay and nice tips

      Cons

      People who don't even work in a salon, nor do they have a cosmetologist license makes the schedule. They do not care about work/life balance.

      Pros

      Laid back, friendly people, easy job. Not a stressful environment. Lots of good leadership and people who care about their work. Provides a service that will always be needed.

      Cons

      High turnover, low wages. Not much room for growth or raises. Lower tips for stylists and none for receptionists. Some difficult customers on a daily basis.
