      Pros

      Liveable wage from tips. Good to start out. If you mostly like cutting over coloring it's an okay place of employment. Environment varies based on your location of course.

      Cons

      Working so much for so little, Working every weekend, threatened to make haircut times and product, not compensated for marketing and using your own car, on call shifts that get extended. The list goes on.

      Good tips, guaranteed clientele, busy salon

      Cons

      Working weekends, was asked to work on my vacation that was approved for months. All are paid the same even if they are experienced or fresh out of school. High turnover of hairdressers leaving you short handed. The clip notes sometimes don't benefit you if they aren't updated.
