Pros

The salon was busy so tips were great and easy to make. It was a great starting salon to build skills and techniques. The salon also provided products to use.

Cons

Management didn't go by their own rules- taking excessive lunch breaks and hiding out in the office while customers sat in the waiting room. Reviews and evaluations were often fabricated or rushed.

Pros

Stylists are nice, fun to sit in the back and talk when it's slow, some customers and wonderful to talk to and sweet and kind and all that good stuff.

Cons

The fake friendly "Hi, welcome to great clips!" and speaking as someone who does NOT cut hair it's ridiculous how fast they have to churn customers in and out. Standing literally all day, only time to sit = 30 minute break. Shitty pay not only for me (no experience) but for the stylists who have been working for great clips for years and make 50 cents more than I do.
