Business Outlook
Pros
Its a very good way to learn hair cuts because you'll get lots of practice doing them. If you like to be busy its also a great place for you. It a fast pace place, its keeps you on your toes and also up to date with styles. I like that appointments aren't made that way you get all kinds of different people.
Cons
Depending on your manager you will be working at least 2 nights a week and practically every weekend. The scheduling is hard to get use to because its forever fluctuating. If the salon is under staffed be prepared to work extra days and longer hours. The raise system isn't that great and neither is the pay.
