Pros

You'll definitely be busy within this field. Great Clips is a well known name so you will be able to find yourself cutting a lot of hair.

Cons

Pay is below minimum wage, tips are appreciate not expected within the workplace. You're lucky to get 5 dollars, but as I stated definitely will have a lot of turnover rate so the one customer that doesn't tip you, the next might give you a nifty 10er.

The clientele is fun and I will miss them

Cons

Where do I even begin... Management is 100% trash, they treat employees like robots and like they are disposable. Don't expect a raise for any amount of growth or work you do. They claim "Open door" policy and work life balance but that is an absolute joke, as a matter of fact you can lose your job if you speak out or voice any issues. The only thing that matters to them are the numbers that contribute to their bonuses.

Low pay, low tips…not worth running back and forth like a chicken

You get to work with seniors and the disabled community.

Cons

You have to be a certain someone to advance beyond store manager. Very low pay, poor management (owners-rich folks with no clue, GMs-sit around & eat all day, salon managers LOL). No benefits, they will hire anyone with fingers- so you are bound to work with an addict eventually, almost nonexistent breaks… the list goes on. Owners literally give you reward pizza when they hit a big $$$ goal. hahaha Wait, did I say low pay? It’s ridiculous.
