Pros

Flexible schedule- depends on the manager integrity

Cons

PAY, PAY, PAY. These people are the typical corporate “run of the mill” run this business like a machine operation. They’ve invested as little as possible into the business- very low budget EVERYTHING from products to store lighting, POS systems, even the hairstyle posters look cheesy! TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL

They overwork their employees

Nothing good about the company

They didn't pay well and it was under minimum wage Management was terrible A lot of stylists quit every month They don't care about their employs

Pros

high traffic clientele and good tips

Cons

Senior management always pushing faster without concern for quality. Raises are far between and there isn't incentive to work faster or harder due to lack of productivity incentives. The only increase income comes from tips that are counted as part of your "effective wage" that accounts for half if not more of your income. Very little work/life balance as it is always short staffed or filled with inadequately skilled workers causing fast burnout/turnover of tenured stylists.
