Disorganized, High Turnover, and Unrealistic Expectations
Pros
* Prioritizes work life balance; hybrid work model, went fully remote for 2 weeks over the holidays, unlimited pto that pretty much never gets rejected, they are super generous with it * Casual office dress code is nice * Great colleagues, mostly because they’re in the same miserable situation as you * Managers really care, but they aren’t given much to work with because upper management is so clueless * Almost anyone can get a job here, so if you need something fast go for it
Cons
* The most disorganized company I have ever been a part of, at one point I had a new manager 3 weeks in a row * We were told that when we exited their onboarding program, GOB, we would be put on a permanent team immediately. It turns out that it takes over two months to do so * While in this awkward in between stage we were expected to close 2 deals a week. This was extremely problematic when nearly half the leads we were given were businesses that were permanently closed * Due to it being virtually impossible to hit these goals, many bd’s were under constant threat of being put on pips or fired, making an already stressful situation worse * To show you how bad their retention rate is, I will share a quote from the VP: “we hired 160 BD’s last year, out of which 61 remain. This shows that what we’re doing is working.” This is an unheard of level of turnover. The vp said this as if it were a point of pride, further proving upper management’s incompetence * Not a product that businesses want to work with. “We’re going to discount your service by 50%, then we’re going to take 40% of the remainder as our commission, how does that sound?” Overall not a good thing for businesses
