      The memories of when Groupon was actually a wonderful place to work and the connections I made during my time there

      The new Czech leadership destroyed the company culture and decimated the workforce. They have been steadily laying off the North American workforce, and now there is hardly anyone left. When I first started working for Groupon years ago, it was truly a shining example of a company who treated its employees well. After several CEO’s came and went, and finally the Czech leadership took over, the whole company went to hell. It was mind-boggling to witness just how quickly the company culture took a nosedive as thousands of longtime employees were being laid off with little to no warning. Before long, it was a ghost town. I honestly don’t know how the place is even running at this point. It’s truly heartbreaking to see such a great company totally implode.
