      Despite many other pitfalls, felt there is some employee respect atleast until you work there

      still a Garage Startup kinda envronment (Which they seem to feel proud about!!!)

      Worse ever policies "Employee First" and 'i4Excel(Apprecial)" and not Transparent at all.

      Pros

      Good Place to work sometime for the sake of brand Name. Lateral entry with good salary is fine for short term career.

      Cons

      - Worse "Employ First" Politic to influence employees. - For Internal employees forget about Groth(any promotion, salary hike). - Feedback for annual apprecial is outstanding but final rating will come very bad and then salary cut/no hike/lay off when they need. - No value for hard work. -Before coming to HCL be aware b4 staying loosing ur career groth.

      Pros

      Job Stability - Usually they don't fire any employee as there are lot of projects going around and attrition is always high. Salary - Reasonably descent salary compared to peers.

      Cons

      Work Culture - One of the worst in the industry. All employees are just numbers here. Work life Balance - Forget it if you are working in Bangalore Technical Growth - Again it is better to forget the same as there is nothing technical. Any project is taken as long as there is a potential revenue from the same. It can be as bad as sweeping floors as well. Peers level and Senior Management - Most absurd organization with the top management treating you as dirt. However it is a nice place to be in if you lack technically and have a little bit of Project Managment knowledge. As nothing technical work takes place it is the best place for all who lack technically and have limited knowledge. All that is needed is little bit of management experience.
