Pros

You'll get a basic knowledge of how publishing works at one of the largest pub houses in the world.

Cons

Petty managers, old school way of doing tings, if you are entry level you are expected to be grateful and never leave your position or ask for a raise even after a few years.

Boring and unrewarding

Recommend
Business Outlook

Pros

Flexible work hours (depending on department), cool boss, some of the people are friendly, free books, lots of down time

Cons

Work can be extremely boring and seem pointless; most of the books I work on are extremely bad. Many of the people I work with are unhelpful and uncooperative. Pay is unbelievably bad.
