      Pros

      It is easy to work in a variety of departments to ensure that you will get hours. Also, the team member travel program is awesome

      Cons

      At our specific location, they had a policy of hiring outside cadidates oer qualified internal candidates. Also, the hotel industry as a whole can be very seasonal.

      Pros

      Flextime schedules, great work-life balance, and recognition of individual achievements are the best factors about working at Hilton. The work is interesting, and innovation and new ideas are generally considered (if not always approved).

      Cons

      Lots of confusion in the reorg; new roles are not clearly defined. The culture will most certainly change, and it's uncertain how the organization will look six months from now.

      Okay place to work while in college

      Pros

      Flexible hours 7-11 3-11 11-7. Driving is not that bad because you are paid a base hourly rate and have the opportunity to receive tips from people picked up at the airport. I wish the guest would know that we specifically go their to pick them up. How about dropping a dollar or something. A taxi ride would have cost you atleast $50.

      Cons

      Working in a hotel lets you see the ugly of people. Guest that stay are usually very condascending, rude, arrogant, and unforgiving.
