PRN employees can self schedule, staff is very helpful and friendly in CCU, nurses are amazing

Cons

Hospital is low on staff, nurses and techs have to work their butts off, almost never having time for lunch, taking care of a heavy load of patients.

One of the things I love most about working for HSHS Medical Group is that it is a faith based environment. It is so comforting to be able to tell colleagues and patients that you are praying for them, to begin each meeting with a reflection or prayer, and be able to openly share your faith in the workplace. Most everyone I work with has a patient-first mindset, and work together to find solutions for any difficulties that may arise. I feel like many of the complaints people have put on this page are typical for any workplace - none is perfect, or they wouldn't call it "work!"

Cons

Because we are located throughout Illinois, you don't get to connect with all of your co-workers on a regular basis.
