Pros

Free lunch, freedom to get your job done in most cases for administrators. Not a whole lot of over the shoulder watching. Everyone is generally helpful, and will assist / train or point you in the right direction for advancing knowledge.

Cons

Payscale is a bit lower than industry standard.

Terrible company, stay away

Pros

It is pretty easy to get a position here since they have somewhat low requirements for new employees. They will put you through a two week training class that will teach you almost everything you need to know though. Free lunch for those who qualify, but you get what you pay for sometimes.

Cons

Nepotism. It seems that the only way to get ahead is to befriend the management. Being on time seems to be more important than actual job knowledge and performance. They pay under industry standard for the type of work being done because they know the economy is in a downturn. Management doesn't care about their employees, and they treat them as if they are dispensable and without any respect. They will bully you to get what they want from you and won't hold up their end of the bargain when the time comes. (i.e, trading a shift change for a raise or a promotion -- you might change shifts for them, but you may not get that raise/promotion.) HR policies are made with the company's benefit in mind, without consideration to employees (or some state laws). It's what you would expect from people who are married to management without any real HR experience. The NDA they ask you to sign now is pretty ridiculous if you read it through. Lastly, I would not recommend working here if you are a woman.
