Pros

Hyatt encourages promotion within the company. They will pay for your move, should you relocate to another property and allow you to live in the hotel for a few days while you look for a place to live. Open door policy is great. Upper management is easy to talk to. There are even opportunities to meet executive management from the corporate offices. Hyatt puts a lot of time into training their employees.

Cons

Pay is not the greatest. Once you reach an entry level management position it's difficult to move. It seems upper management doesn't want to let you go. Customer service based jobs cultivate a blame game atmosphere. Seems like everyone is out to get each other to clear their own name. Poor work/life balance. Many holidays are spent working.
