The hours in the hospitality company can be long, but this is applies to the entire industry not just Hyatt.

Pros

Working at the Grand Hyatt San Diego is great. Although the hotel is so large with so many employees it feels as though we are one big family. Everybody is always smiling and greeting one and other. We also have some of the best Benefit options out there. If you want to move up the ladder in the Hospitality Field, Hyatt is the place to do it. When working at the Hyatt you are always encouraged to succeed and further your career.

Cons

So many people you can't get to know everybody. Also, some things can get lost through the grapevine.

Pros

Genuinely cares about guests. Genuinely cares about employees. Outstanding HR Department, Always open to new ideas and suggestions.

Cons

The posting of future schedules is often times late. Schedules go from Sunday through Saturday. The schedule is often times not posted until Friday, thus you have only 48 hours to know whether you have an entire weekend off.
