      Relatively stable company. Process oriented management Many opportunities to learn Work from home (100%) opportunities Many smart people to learn from and network

      Clueless middle level management Little or no growth unless you have the "connections" Too much process (bureaucracy) and too many turf wars Too many dumb people hampering your progress

      Good opprtunities to learn new technologies, Products. Good Career Growth in terms of position and roles. Flexibility at work. Good Culture and Environment.

      Cons

      Too Flexible environment makes Employees lazy like Govt. More focused towards product sales but poor focus in Services area. Bad Marketing strategies for GBS GD centers, total dependency on GBS GEO causing loss of business. No Salary Hikes, appraisals, appreciations and motivation to Employees.

      Nothing great about IBM

      - Lots of experienced people to work with. Can learn lot of things. - Work from home available (Not in every project) - Offers good salary package but its a strategy to catch employee. - Has good brand name.Which can earn you some respect.

      Cons

      - Almost No Hikes. - No framework to identify talented employees.Open ur mouth and do ur advertising.Here its called branding and networking. - No review meeting happening ,not even for namesake. - Goal setting and performance review is just a nonsense.For most of the employees it never happens. - You can be transferred to any part of India if projects are not available in your base location.Be ready. - If you are in domestic, forget onsite.Confirm it before you join.
