IBM has changed my life

Recommend
Business Outlook

Pros

I joined IBM as an intern and it was a great opportunity to change my life. I didn't come from a renowned university, nor did I have any referrals, but the IBM recruiting and management team was able to assess my development potential and it was the chance I needed to get where I am. IBM is a big and very unique world, which does have its challenges like every company, but it offers the tools to work well and develop our careers: a channel to find your coach or mentor, very practical guides on how to have your career conversations , a portal full of skills development resources, just to give some examples. Besides, of course, the benefits and salary, which I am very satisfied with.

Cons

As a big company, bureaucracy is something to keep working on. IBM is prioritizing simplification & productivity with many practical examples of improvement.
