      Once an IBMer spends 4 years or more, he takes the company for granted and creates a comfort zone for himself. Middle management is very poor and growth path is horrible

      Pros

      IBM still is a company with an amazing story of success and still have amazing people. If you are in the beginning, it has a lot to offer given it's culture and worldwide organisation.

      Cons

      Given the pressure in costs and competition, IBM no longer offers what made it so special in the past. Your performance counts but your salary should not be in the upper side of sigma. People is not as valuable as it used to be. It's values changed significantly and it is not what we used to know about it years back.
