      Brand Name Flexibility Global and Large Projects. Training opportunities Global exposure and experience

      Cons

      This is IBM India specific Too process oriented. Feels like working for government. Individuality is missing because of size. Too much focus on cost cutting in the short term but not thinking about the long term impact of these actions.

      Pros

      There is a lot of work to be done, because we have so many people we need to communicate with and keep up to speed.

      Cons

      You are a resource, not a person to the executive team. Your manager is asked if s/he has the absolute best people on board, if not, work the less than perfect people out of the business - tell them the bar is rising and they no longer meet the requirements.

      There are many opportunities to determine your job scope and direction. The management culture is all about fairness almost to a fault. The same is true about respect for employees; emotional outbursts, when they occur, are frowned upon, and the people are counciled in private.

      Cons

      No one looks out for you if you spend too much time at work, so it's easy to get into an 11 hr/day routine.
